Salih GÖR took office as Social Affairs Counsellor at the Embassy of Türkiye in Brussels on 20 April 2026. He was appointed by Presidential Decision No. 2026/56 of 13 February 2026.

Education and career
Born in Samsun in 1981, Salih GÖR memorised the Qur’an at the Sokullu Mehmet Paşa Qur’an course in Fatih, Istanbul. He graduated from imam hatip secondary school in 1999 and from a theology faculty in 2004.
- 2001: began serving as an imam hatip.
- 2014: completed the 25th programme at Istanbul’s Haseki Higher Religious Specialisation Centre.
- 2016: became an assistant religious affairs expert.
- 30 October 2019: appointed Head of the Eurasian Countries Department.
- 20 April 2026: took up his post in Brussels.
